Two comfortable rooms available at the farmhouse. These rooms have queen beds. Private adjoining bathrooms with vanity and showers. Expansive balcony upstairs. Ground level has separate entrance. Guests have access to the full kitchen, sitting area and dining area on the main floor and balcony.

GRIZZLY ANNIE’S CABIN

Grizzly Annie’s Cabin, is just 40 meters from our dock on beautiful Christiansen Lake. The cabin has oil heat,  instant on hot water, electricity. This cabin has a single bed for one guest. There is a bathroom with flush toilet and shower. A washer and dryer are available (fee). The cabin is very popular with backpackers and overnighters.

JO’S 

Jo’s Dry Cabin, surrounded by woods, is two hundred meters from Grizzly Anne’s cabin, above the lake. Best suited for one or two people. The cabin has a queen bed. The full size refrigerator, microwave oven, 2 burner hotplate and some cookware, allow guests to prepare meals. There is also a weber grill, and a campfire ring, for outside cooking. This cabin has a dry sink. Guests must supply water.  The cabin is heated by wood stove. An outhouse services this rustic cabin.

Guests at Jo’s, have access to the dock, our wood fired sauna, flush toilet and shower at the main cabin. Wi Fi, does not extend to Jo’s.

KATHY’S Dry Cabin

Kathy’s Dry Cabin, has a queen bed and a day bed. The cabin is equipped with, microwave and refrigerator. The cabin has a wood stove for chasing away the chill of an Alaska evening.  “Dry cabin”, is Alaskan for “no running water”. Guests must supply drinking water.  The cabin is served by an outhouse. Guests may enjoy the wood fired sauna.

Swim, or launch your canoe from our little dock, and explore this crystal clear link in the Talkeetna Lakes Chain. Fish for rainbow and steelhead in these well stocked waters. In winter, ice fishing is popular. There is an extensive trail network just across the road linking the lakes in this chain. Trails are very well maintained and provide easy hiking for viewing wildlife. Beautiful cross country  ski adventures and snow machine expeditions start right outside the door.

POSSUM CREEK CAMP

For more ambitious back country hiking, motorized wilderness adventures, and camping, many trails are at hand. Our campsite at Possum Creek offers an edge of wilderness camping experience. Hike in and set up camp. If you prefer, reserve ahead and we’ll pitch a tent for you. Closed for the season.

Talkeetna has many opportunities for winter wilderness fun. Cross country trails and the Spur bike path are maintained in great condition. Unlimited miles of remote trails beckon snowmobilers and hikers. 

Our cabins are open all year.
